Since there has been a lot of demand for another tank top order we are opening up a pre-order form in attempt to reach the minimum order from the printer. We are going to open this up to make it available to men and youth size. You can find below the size charts and images of the tank tops that are available. The men's and youth tanks will only have The eh? Team printed on the front in white and the back will be blank.  The women's tanks will be the same as before.

The cost is 35$ CDN per tank, shipping included, with all proceeds going to The Great Canadian Run. The estimated time to complete the order is 6-8 weeks. Once the minimum order has been reach payment will become due ASAP to paypal account muddqueens@hotmail.com.

Prison Break OCR Race Review

Hello!

My name is Emma. I am the youngest Canadian Mudd Queen, and last year I ran Prison Break at Ski Vorlage, I had a ton of fun!I recommend Prison break to all levels of OCRacers.

   While at Prison Break I noticed that everything was incredibly well organized. No matter what I was doing or asking, it always went well or there was an immediate and helpful answer. During the race I liked the amount of burpees for penalty. Not so many that it felt like more work than the obstacle itself, but not so few/none that you felt is was to easy or you were ‘cheating’.

   The obstacle variety was amazing!The most unique feature of this race is, obviously, the guards. The guards are interacting with you and try to steal one of your flags. Similar to the elementary school game British bull dog. I think my favourite -aside from the guards- would totally have to be the vertical rock wall. I also Volunteered for Prison Break. It was a great experience an a chance to see other racers enjoying themselves. A great way to support the race!

Welcome to The eh? Team's Virtual run page hosted by the Canadian Mudd Queens. This Canadian themed medal is great for all regardless if you know what a hoser, poutine, soaker, or beaver tail is!

What is a virtual Run/Walk?

A virtual run/walk  is a race you sign up for online. You pick the distance you want to run or walk, be it 5k, 10k, or a half marathon, and we will send you a medal. Then you choose a location and time to do your run or walk. Make it fun, dress up, or just go for a soul-searching jog. Once you have completed the run or walk you can share your results and pictures in the Facebook Group. Reporting your results is not mandatory; it is up to you to complete the pledged distance.

How long do we have?
You have from February 1st until supplies last to register for the race. But you can run whenever you choose. Medals will be shipped regularly starting in mid-March. We have a limited quantity of medals so act fast!

Why are we running?

The most important part of this run is the reason why it was put together. The Canadian Mudd Queens are a group of obstacle course racing ladies that have decided to dedicate their running efforts in 2014 to the Sears Great Canadian Run. The Relay to End Kids Cancers. All profits from this virtual run will be donated to help fund research to cure kids cancers.

What do we get?

Every registration includes this custom diecut 3.5" The eh? Team medal, shipping, a printable race bib (instructions on how to print the bib coming soon), and most importantly a donation to help #endkidscancers.

Cost:

The cost is 30$ CAD per medal including shipping to Canada or the US. Save with bulk registration, 2 registrations are 55$ and 3 are 75$! Every medal over 3 is an additional 20$. Please contact us if you need more than 5 medals. UK racers, the cost is 35$ per medals, and 30$ for each additional medal. If you need more than 3 UK medals please email us your request.

Fundraising Kick Off Plunge

The 2014 fundraising drive for the Sears Great Canadian 100k Relay to end kids cancers has officially started! There are many efforts already in place such bracelet and shirt sales.  Several Mudd Queens have also accepted a fitness challenge to kick off the New Year right and at the same time donated to the cause.

There are also other things coming down the pipe to involve everyone in our fundraising efforts. Over the course of the next few months we will be having a couple virtual races. A virtual race is one that you sign up for online, participate where ever you live at your own leisure, and we send you a medal for your accomplishment.  There will be distances for everyone, you can run or walk, and there is something for everyone. Stay tuned!

As always we are open to suggestions for fundraising. We have a lofty goal to reach and are open to doing what we can.  There is also a donate now button at the top of this page

Here are a couple pictures of Patrice Chen and myself, Tanya Logan, taking the plunge at the Sears Great Canadian Chill to kick off our fundraising efforts! We were also supported by Mudd Queens Kelly Ripley, Jen Milligan, Jennifer Branson, and my mother Terry Queen Bee. It was about -30 with the windchill in Ottawa that day. Anything for the kids!

Canadian Mudd Queens Charity for 2014

Welcome to the Canadian Mudd Queens blog about charity events. Each year we will be supporting a different cause. In 2014 the Canadian Mudd Queens will be raising money for the Sears Great Canadian 100k Relay to End Kids Cancers through various fund raising events.  The Sears 100k Relay is an annual event and in 2013 the Mudd Queens team  raised a total of 3 300$. In 2014 we will be running the relay again but with 3 or more teams. Our goal is to collect 10 000$. Tentatively we will have 2 teams in Ottawa and one team in Toronto. The Toronto relay will be September 20th 2014  and in Ottawa it will be on October 4th 2014.

Why we picked this charity, as per their website: "We run because we want children in our communities to spend more time at the playground than they do at the hospital, more days learning how to play soccer than about the side effects of chemotherapy..."

We will be kicking off our efforts with the The Sears Great Canadian Chill on January 1st 2014 by jumping into the cold waters of Britannia beach in Ottawa. Donations will be collected at various events we attend and create until the end of the year. You can, however, donate at anytime by visiting this blog and clicking the donate button on the right.
