The 2014 fundraising drive for the Sears Great Canadian 100k
Relay to end kids cancers has officially started! There are many efforts
already in place such bracelet and shirt sales.
Several Mudd Queens have also accepted a fitness challenge to kick off
the New Year right and at the same time donated to the cause.
There are also other things coming down the pipe to involve
everyone in our fundraising efforts. Over the course of the next few months we
will be having a couple virtual races. A virtual race is one that you sign up
for online, participate where ever you live at your own leisure, and we send
you a medal for your accomplishment. There will be distances for everyone, you can
run or walk, and there is something for everyone. Stay tuned!
As always we are open to suggestions for fundraising. We have
a lofty goal to reach and are open to doing what we can. There is also a donate now button at the top
of this page
Here are a couple pictures of Patrice Chen and myself, Tanya
Logan, taking the plunge at the Sears Great Canadian Chill to kick off our
fundraising efforts! We were also supported by Mudd Queens Kelly Ripley, Jen Milligan, Jennifer Branson, and my mother Terry Queen Bee. It was about -30 with the windchill in Ottawa that day. Anything for the kids!
